🛠️ How to Create a Strength Training Plan

Follow these steps to set up your personalized strength plan:

  • Open the Run Flo app.

  • Tap the “Plans” tab in the bottom main menu.

  • Select “Manage Plan.”

  • If you haven’t already, tap “Set Up Strength.”

You’ll be guided through questions to tailor your plan, including:

  • Your fitness level and experience (to determine sets and reps)

  • Whether you want a running-focused or all-around strength plan

  • Which days you want to train

  • How long each workout should be (longer means more exercises)

  • The equipment you have access to, such as:

    • Dumbbells

    • Barbells

    • Swiss ball

    • Resistance bands

    • Kettlebells

    • Pull-up bar

    • Plyometric box

Once finished, your strength plan will integrate automatically with your running plan.

🏋️ How to Navigate Your Strength Training Workout

After setup, strength sessions appear in your plan marked with a dumbbell icon on scheduled dates.

💡 Workout Flow

  • You’ll see an overview listing exercises with sets and reps.

  • Tap “Record Workout” to begin.

  • Workouts are broken into parts, each with multiple exercises.

  • Alternate between exercises, completing the specified reps.

  • Check off each set as you go.

  • After each part, tap “Complete Part” to continue.

  • At the end, tap “Complete Workout.”

Once completed, if you revisit that workout date on your training plan, you’ll see: “Strength Training Completed.”
